For the holistic development of the student, co-curricular activities in the following areas be carried out by the teachers and will be graded term-wise on a 5-point scale. The aspect of regularity, sincere participation, output and teamwork be the generic criteria for grading in the following
(i) Work Education - Work Education refers to skill based activities resulting in goods or servicesuseful to the community
(ii) Art Education (Visual & Performing Art)
(iii) Health and Physical Education (Sports/Martial Arts /Yoga/NCC etc.)
This is offered to the children of classes 6-8. The Curriculum is such that it helps to make academic learning fun for school children. We encourage a greater degree of design experimentation that are well suited for school children and school curriculum. Robot building kit adapts itself with school education and makes classroom learning fun, lively and easy.
Cambridge English Young Learners is a series of fun, motivating English Language tests,aimed at children in primary and lower-secondary education. There are three activity based tests-Starters,Movers and Flyers. This gives students a clear path to improve in English. Class III will be appearing for Starters, Class IV Movers, while Class V will be appearing for Flyers examination.
This curriculum is included for classes II – IX. Chrysalis lays a strong foundation in nine core areas in technology. It is scientifically designed to create a space for the child to think and express on its own. The ICT curriculum is designed to provide in-depth learning in technology. Students are provided hands on experience with scope for creative expressions through their active involvement. Four facets of thinking methodology is integrated into the curriculum (Look Deep, Look around, Look Within and Look Beyond). This enhances the problem-solving, analytical, societal and reflective skills of the child.
Awakened Citizen Program is a three year graded Value Education program for students studying in middle school and high school. This program is designed to open the minds to children and enable them to discover values. It is currently running in 4000 across the Nation. Each one of us, carries within, an infinite source of power, “I can”. This infinite power can be manifested within each student through this program via explorations, situation analyses, discussions and real life examples. This program will be for classes VII – IX and will be carried out as a part of the life skill program.
Girl Guides and Scouts - The purpose of the Movement is to contribute to the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of the local, national and international communities.
5-12: Students of classes 5-10 will have Dramatic class on Thursdays.
